Linkin Joseph ‘Link’ Hamilton

November 30, 2012
The Advertiser-Tribune

Linkin Joseph "Link" Hamilton, 6, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, in a house fire in Republic. He was joined in death by his parents, Joseph D. and Holly R. Hamilton; his brother, Jaxon D. Hamilton; and sister, Olivia R. Bondy.

Linkin was born Aug. 15, 2006, to Joseph D. and Holly R. (Adams) Hamilton. Linkin attended kindergarten at Seneca East School. He enjoyed running wildly, chasing and hugging his siblings and toy, motorized vehicles-anything with wheels. Linkin was an incredible (likely one of the world's best) charades player. Linkin was truly a miracle. He was born with numerous severe health problems. He endured more tests, surgeries, treatments and therapies than most adults. After conquering most issues and working with his remaining health issues, Linkin emerged courageous and fearless. He attacked life and all of its ups and downs with an unparalleled zest.

Linkin is survived by his paternal great-great-grandfather, George Bemke; his maternal great-great-grandmothers, Jean Adams and Renada "Ren" Funni; his paternal grandparents, Terry M. and Phillip C. (Dorie) Hamilton, Jr.; his maternal grandparents, Willy (Lisa) Adams and Chris Adams; his paternal uncle, Phillip C. (Jaime) Hamilton III; cousins, Phillip IV, Jacob and Benjamin Hamilton; his maternal uncle, Joshua Adams; his paternal aunt, Nicole L. Hamilton; his maternal aunt and her daughter, Heidi Adams and Destiny Gurley; and a large number of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and step-relatives.
