Mr. Hamilton

In August 2004, Joe and the love of his life, Holly R. (Adams) Hamilton, were blessed with their first son, Jaxon D. Hamilton. Holly's daughter, Olivia R. Bondy, was a very proud and loving older sister. Soon after, in May 2005, Joe and Holly married. The following year, another son was born. Linkin J. Hamilton arrived in August 2006. The family was complete.

Joe enjoyed his family and friends immensely. He was always available to lend a hand, stop for a visit with his neighbors, and opened his home to people and animals that just needed a warm place to feel loved. Joe coached Olivia's soccer and softball teams. He also coached baseball for Jaxon. If something or someone was needed, he did his best to help.

Joe is survived by his great-grandfather, George Bemke; his parents, Terry M. Hamilton and Phillip C. (Dorie) Hamilton Jr.; his brother, Phillip C. (Jaime) Hamilton III; his sister, Nicole L. Hamilton; three nephews, Phillip IV, Jacob and Benjamin Hamilton; two stepnieces, April and Tiffany Martens; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

His memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, with the Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting the family with their arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hamilton Family Benefit Fund, Firelands Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 8005, Bellevue, OH 44811.

Online condolences may be left for the family at www.engleshookfuneralhome.com.
