A Christmas Extravaganza Benefit is 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at Elizabeth Schaefer Auditorium. Many home-based businesses and local artisans are to be set up for shoppers.
The benefit includes a bake sale, Christmas decorations, handmade doll clothes, jewelry and more. Facepainting is to be available for children and Santa is to visit.
Proceeds from the event are to benefit Jessica Snyder and her family. A Calvert graduate, Snyder is waiting for a kidney transplant.
