Fund set up to aid family

FOSTORIA - A fund has been established to help a Fostoria family involved in a fatal accident near Bascom Tuesday.

Living Hope Foursquare Church in Fostoria has helped set up a Bryant-Garner family memorial fund at Fifth Third Bank. Money in the fund, which was established Thursday, is to be used for funeral costs and medical bills, said Tecky Rusk, a pastor at the church.

Pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at CR 7 and TR 112 in Hopewell Township were Bethany Garner, 25, and two of her children, Skyler Bryant, 7, and Angel Bryant, 4, according to State Highway Patrol.

Aireana Bryant, 5, was transported by Life Flight to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. She was in critical condition in the pediatric intensive care unit Thursday evening, a hospital spokeswoman said.

The driver of the vehicle, Terry Bryant Jr., 27, was transported to Fostoria Community Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to State Highway Patrol. Rusk said Terry was at the hospital with his daughter Wednesday.

Donations for funeral expenses also are being accepted at Fostoria Pizza Palace, 119 W. Center St.

Funeral arrangements were pending Thursday evening at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria.
