Tiffin report

Joshua J. Hayes, 21, of Tiffin, was charged with theft Tuesday afternoon.

Fostoria reports

Amber L. Heckathorn, 36, of Fostoria, was charged with resisting arrest Monday.

A 1500-block North Countyline Street man reported Monday evening he was jumped by his brother.

A 100-block Hale Drive woman reported Monday night someone broke into a residence that she was in the process of leaving. A stove and other belongings were taken.

A break-in was reported early Tuesday morning at a residence in the 800 block of Woodward Avenue. Numerous items were missing.

A 700-block Woodward Avenue caller reported early Tuesday morning a vehicle had been heavily damaged by spray paint.

A 100-block Taft Boulevard man reported Tuesday morning someone broke his windshield, damaged a radiator and stole rims.

County reports

Kayla M. Thompson, 22, of Fostoria, was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and violating traffic lanes Saturday.

A break-in was reported Monday evening in the first block of TR 91.

A possible theft was reported early Tuesday morning at Carnuse Lime & Stone, 1967 W. CR 42.

A 16000-block Chestnut Street woman reported Tuesday morning her vehicle was entered overnight and a purse was taken.

A 1000-block West Seneca Avenue woman reported Tuesday afternoon her boyfriend assaulted her and wouldn't leave the residence.

State Patrol

Dennis F. Long, 59, of Pennsylvania, was charged with open container Sunday. He also was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to control.

Tiffin fire

Firefighters were called to Taco Bell, 630 W. Market St., Monday evening for the report of a fire. A spokesman from Tiffin Fire and Rescue said a letter had shorted out on a sign on the front awning. The damage was contained to the letter.
