Columbian coach Brian Colatruglio has called Isiah Moore the best lineman he has ever coached.
On Monday, Moore was honored as one of the best lineman in Division II, as he made the All-Ohio first team.
Two of his teammates, defensive lineman Chandler Hoover (second team) and back Jack Jacoby (third team) also rated all-state.
Of the group, Moore is the only junior; Jacoby and Hoover are seniors.
Moore, at left tackle, paved the way for Jacoby and TC's other running back, Ryan Lynch, who combined to run for almost 2,300 yards in the regular season.
There was reason, when Columbian was in a key situation on offense, it almost always ran left.
"And (Moore's) still learning." Colatruglio said. "He has another year in the weight room, and he can be even better, which is scary.
"We had a lineman that was dominating games, and you don't see that very often," Colatruglio said. "It's gonna be exciting to see how much he can improve and how good he can actually get."
Hoover finished the season with 16 tackles for a loss, 35 tackles overall.
"He's an effort guy, great motor, never gave up on plays," Colatruglio said of Hoover. "He never took a play off. He's got every ounce of production out of his God-given talent."
As for Jacoby, he's been the catalyst for the Columbian offense for the last two seasons. In 2012, playing many of his snaps in the quarterback spot, he finished with 19 touchdowns and 1,480 yards.
"Jack is a guy who loves to have the ball in his hands," Colatruglio said. "Even those teams that gameplanned their entire schemes around stopping him, they still weren't able to stop him."
Columbian made the playoffs for the third consecutive season, bowing out in the second round to Avon. The Tornadoes finished the season 11-1.
