Thanks, those who shop locally
Today is Small Business Saturday. Nestled between Black Friday (dominated by big-box stores) and Cyber Monday (which features online retailers), the Small Business Saturday encourages holiday shoppers to patronize nearby, brick-and-mortar businesses.
For some people, that won't make a difference. It won't change their shopping habits at all. They'll continue to do what they do the rest of the year - shop at locally owned, mom-and-pop businesses. To those folks, we tip our caps, and urge more of their neighbors to follow their example. The county that receives part of your sales will be your own.
