Seneca County Republican Executive Committee is to accept applications for the position of Seneca County Board of Elections director. Janet Leahy, current director, is retiring effective Dec. 31.
The Republican party is to make a recommendation to the board, which is to make the appointment. Interested applicants should send a resume and cover letter to Secretary Jim Ehrman, 864 Leonard St., Fostoria, OH 44830.
The committee is to meet at 7 p.m. Dec. 4 at Tiffin-Seneca Public Library.
Applicants are to have the opportunity to address the group, and the meeting is to be open to the public. The vote is to be by secret ballot.
Applicants must be Republicans registered to vote in Seneca County.
