Most of us understand and respect farmers with their huge and slow-moving equipment at this time of year. Some of us show impatience and use obscene gestures. Shame on those people; we all need farmers.
But ... the farmers taking more than half of the road need to use more caution.
I propose over-sized equipment should have towering flags so we can see them approaching hilly areas. Maybe accidents such as the one Oct. 25 could be avoided.
