Go the ‘extra mile’

November 14, 2012
The Advertiser-Tribune

I have seen first hand as a Community Hospice volunteer and the spouse of the executive director of Community Hospice, how the Tiffin-Seneca United Way helps many patients in so many ways. I have been actively involved with hospice for more than 20 years. Tiffin-Seneca United Way literally has touched hundreds of families in this time frame.

Did you know Community Hospice Care never charges a patient/family for their services? That's a rarity these days. Your United Way dollars make this possible! We all know of someone who has died from a terminal illness and the last worry they need is to think about how they are going to pay for this specialized care. You, your family or friends may need this service sometime in the future. If you go the "extra mile" now by donating to United Way, you can be assured that in your time of need, all of the United States agencies will be here to serve you.

Community Hospice Care is dependent upon your generous donations to assure you or your family will never be charged for hospice care. Won't you please consider going the "extra mile" to help during this year's United Way campaign?

Community Hospice Care volunteer
