CLYDE - McPherson House in Clyde is to be open 1-4 p.m. Wednesday to commemorate the birth of James Birdseye McPherson to Cynthia Russell McPherson and William McPherson Nov. 14, 1828. The home is at Maple Street and McPherson Highway (US 20), across from the statue marking his grave in McPherson Cemetery.
