Today is the deadline to submit names of local deployed service members to receive holiday care packages from home.
The packages, to be sent by the American Red Cross of Hancock, Fostoria/Seneca and Wyandot counties, are to include food & drink mixes, entertainment and sports items, toiletries and other items.
Submit the service members name and full military address along with a local contact name, address, phone number and e-mail address by calling (419) 422-9322, ext. 1503. The Red Cross Youth Council will be assembling the packages at their meeting today. Packages must be mailed by Thursday to arrive in time for the holidays.
