Richard and Melissa DeMoss are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary with a family trip to Chicago.
The couple was married Nov. 4, 1972, at Old Fort United Methodist Church, Old Fort.
Melissa is the daughter of the late John and Doris Morrone. She is activity coordinator at Allen Eiry Senior Center, Tiffin, and formerly was an art teacher at Columbian High School.

Richard is the son of the late Raymond and Virginia DeMoss. He retired as a physical education and health teacher at New Reigel High School. He is assistant basketball coach at Carey High School.
They are the parents of two daughters, Raeann (Brandon) Brause of Sycamore and Mary DeMoss of Chicago. One stepgrandson completes their family.
