Tiffin reports

A person went to the station Tuesday afternoon to report a possible stolen TV.

A 500-block Circular Street man reported Tuesday afternoon someone shot a BB through his window.

A person went to the station Tuesday evening to report unauthorized charges on a credit card.

A first-block Hall Street woman reported Tuesday evening someone took pumpkins off her porch and smashed them. Other items were thrown into her yard.

Angela R. Ginnever, 44, of Tiffin, was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to control Tuesday night.

Nickolas R. Hawthorne, 22, of Tiffin, was charged with theft Tuesday.

A 100-block Lindsay Avenue woman reported Wednesday afternoon she believed someone tried to break into her house Tuesday night.

County report

A caller reported early Wednesday morning an assault occurred last Thursday at Seneca East School, 109 N. Seneca St.

Fostoria reports

A 400-block Monticello Drive woman reported Tuesday evening her cell phone had been stolen.

A woman went to the station Tuesday evening to report her father took her debit card and was making transactions on it.

A caller from Red's Pizza, 381 Perry St., reported Tuesday evening two boys stole money out of a collection jar. The boys were told they are not allowed back in the establishment without an adult.

A 400-block Stadium Drive woman reported Tuesday night her purse was stolen. A man refused to return the purse, she said.

State Patrol

A two-vehicle accident was reported Tuesday afternoon at West TR 112 and SR 587. At least one person was transported to Fostoria Community Hospital. Further details were unavailable.

A vehicle struck a pole Tuesday night at CR 591 and US 23. A man had a facial laceration as a result of the accident and the pole snapped in half, according to reports from the Seneca County Sheriff's Office. No transports were made from the scene. Further details were unavailable.

Rodrick L. Kirby, 44, of Bloomville, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana Tuesday. He also was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

County fire

Bascom firefighters were called to West TR 112 and SR 587 Tuesday afternoon for an accident.

NBS firefighters were called to CR 591 and US 23 Tuesday night for an accident.

Tiffin fire

Firefighters were called to 165 Eighth Ave. Tuesday afternoon for a mobile vehicle fire.

Firefighters were called to 152 Sycamore St. Tuesday evening for a smoke or odor removal.

Firefighters were called to 167 Main St. early Wednesday morning for an electrical problem.

Fostoria fire

Firefighters were called to 1123 Buckley St. for a malfunctioning electric stove.

Firefighters were called to Risingsun Farm Co-op early Wednesday morning to assist with a grain dryer fire.

Firefighters were called to 25 Christopher Drive Wednesday morning for an automatic alarm activation.
