Robbie (Stephens) Kofol, 93, longtime Attica resident, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at Altercare of Nobles Pond, Canton.
She was born April 26, 1919, in Albertville, Ala., to Fred C. and Agnes (Glover) Stephens. Mrs. Kofol was a teletypist for Western Union in her younger years; then, after her sons had grown, she was the secretary to the plant manager at Pioneer Rubber, Attica. She was a member of Attica United Methodist Church, Attica bridge club, and had a life-long interest in ballroom dance. Mrs. Kofol took loving care and enjoyed her family very much.
Mrs. Kofol is survived by her two sons, Stephen (Jacquie) Kofol of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Henry (Joyce) Kofol of Canton; two grandchildren, Taylor Kofol of Canton and Caitlin (Brandon) Nowlan of Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; and one great-granddaughter of 5 days, Elizabeth Nowlan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Henry Kofol, who preceded her in death in 2007; one brother, Fred C. Stephens; and two sisters, Lucille Stephens and Jewel Pfifer.
Her funeral will be 11 a.m. today, Nov. 8, 2012, at Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin St., Attica. Burial will follow at Attica-Venice Township Cemetery, Attica.
Visitation was Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
