Green Springs swears in board member

GREEN SPRINGS - Mayor Jesse Darr swore in Nate Morrison as sitting Green Springs Council member Monday night at a Green Springs Village Council meeting. Council also accepted the resignation of Lou Kimmet from the zoning board.

In old business, a tree trimming service has been hired and is to give a quote for stump/tree removal.

Health and life insurance bids for village employees continues.

A letter from the city of Clyde regarding force main taps was read, with emphasis on "case by case" basis as the only option.

In other business:

$19,000 was set aside to prepare a resolution for an advance to the Water Fund to pay for a new

locator and additional water meters.

Police Chief Charlie Horne recommended installation of new Ansul fire system and inspection of fire extinguishers. Council tabled it until January.

Council approved a supplemental appropriations to pay bills.
