Seneca County Commissioners met Tuesday morning to conduct interviews to hire new county maintenance workers.
Interviews were done in an executive session.
In new business, the board approved:
An appropriation adjustment of $20,000 within the Maintenance and Repair Fund.
A supplemental appropriation of $63,307.93 for the Bascom Construction Fund.
A supplemental appropriation of $800 for the Title Administration Fund.
An appropriation adjustment of $500 within the Child Support Enforcement Fund.
An appropriation adjustment of $20,000 within the General Fund.
A fund transfer of $20,000 to be made to the Note Retirement Fund.
A supplemental appropriation of $20,000 for Capital Facilities Note Retirement Fund for 2012.
A resolution authorizing the addendum to the management consultant agreement for labor, employment and other areas for Seneca County with Clemans, Nelson and Associates Inc.
A resolution authorizing commissioners to enter into contract with M & B Asphalt Co. Inc. for the Bettsville Street Improvement Project to be paid with Community Development Block Grant 2011 funds; authorizing Ben Nutter as president of the board to sign this and all other related documentation.
A resolution accepting the recommendation from Kusmer and Associates architects and engineers to award bid to Newcomer Concrete Services Inc. for the Sidewalk Improvement Project in the Village of New Riegel, to be paid with CDBG 2010 funds; authorizing Nutter sign this and all other related documentation.
A resolution authorizing Nutter to sign the office of Criminal Justice Grant, Justice Assistance Grant, Law Enforcement and submit the application for funding retroactive to Oct. 31.
A resolution providing the issuance and sale of $346,000 in notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of renovating, remodeling, furnishing, equipping and otherwise improving building and facilities and improving and equipping their sites to house various county offices and functions and other related offices serving county residents.
A resolution providing for the issuance and sale of $34,000 in notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of acquiring cardiac monitors/defibrillators and other equipment for use in carrying out functions of the division of emergency medical services.
