Saturday, the Sycamore Scouts distributed fund drive materials for the 2012 Sycamore Village and Sycamore Township 1 Fund Drive. A tradition since 1958, the campaign collected more than $8,700 in 2011 to benefit 11 local charities and organizations, including Sycamore Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts; Sycamore Girl Scouts; Sycamore Community Pool; Mental Health and Recovery Services of Seneca, Sandusky and Wyandot Counties; Mohawk Historical Society; Wyandot County Council for Birth Defects; Wyandot County Home Health Agency; Wyandot County Hospice; Wyandot County Multiple Sclerosis; Wyandot County Red Cross; and Wyandot County Senior Citizens (Sycamore 60+ Club).
