FINDLAY - American Red Cross of Hancock, Fostoria/Seneca and Wyandot counties is planning an informational presentation for anyone interested in becoming a volunteer at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Hancock County Red Cross office, 125 Fair St., Findlay.
Red Cross responds to disasters ranging from single-family home fires to massive disasters like Superstorm Sandy.
At the meeting, potential volunteers will hear from volunteers and staff members about how people can help in their own communities as well as become eligible to deploy beyond the region after training and local field experience.
