Our family was not born in Tiffin, but we call it home. It is home because of the people, the schools, the parks and because it's a great place to raise your kids. We call it home because it is a great community. This election, you, as community members, can choose to vote for the income tax increase.
Our family, like so many others, is struggling financially in this economy. We cannot, however, afford not to vote for the quarter-percent increase. Our fire and police forces will have a strain to keep our neighborhoods safe.
Our son, with a disability, needs the pool to help him cope mentally while he is not in school, as do so many other children. Our parks are a privilege that not all communities have. Please vote "yes" to help maintain the amazing community and its workforce and amenities.
