FOSTORIA - Fostoria police are searching for a masked suspect after a robbery Wednesday night at Certified Oil, 100 E. Lytle St.
According to police reports, a caller reported at 9:34 p.m. the gas station had just been robbed. The caller described the robber as a dark-skinned man between 6 feet 4 inches and 6 feet 5 inches tall and wearing all black with a "monster Halloween" mask.
Capt. Patrick Brooks of the Fostoria Police Department said the man allegedly had a revolver and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk complied and the man ran out of the store.
"She did the right thing to stay safe," Brooks said.
Police currently don't have a suspect, Brooks said, but are waiting to view video surveillance from the store.
