Little Box Shop's fourth annual Holiday Happenings is to take place this weekend, starting 10 a.m. today.
Holiday Happenings highlights the many local businesses in Tiffin, said Carol Yager, president of Crystal Traditions and a member of the Little Box Shops.
"The one main thing is that it exposes the small businesses that are in Tiffin," Yager said. "A lot of people don't realize how many businesses are here."
Yager said the event has gotten bigger each, and is starting to attract interest from people from out of town.
"We received some phone calls from people out of town, wanting more information on places they could stay, if they decided to stay overnight. So I was encouraged about that," she said.
Yager said while organizers never kept a close track of how many people have attended the event, she estimated a couple of thousand people have gone to the event.

"We don't go after a specific target market because, in this case, there are so many different interests. It's hard to say because some people enjoy one thing, and some people enjoy another. So I would say that the best thing is the exposure that it gives the small businesses."
The event is to feature many furniture and appliance stores such as Burn's Electric, Ewald Furniture, Ralph's Joy of Living and Phillips Electric offering customers special deals.
Culinary fans can make a stop at Surf N Turf, Phat Cakes, Reino's Pizza and Pasta and GW's Fine Food & Spirits.
History buffs can check out Grammes Brown House, which is the home of the Tiffin Historic Trust. The Seneca County Museum is to have a sneak preview of what's in the 1884 Court House time capsule.
People who enjoy art can go to House and Signatures of Seneca County, which is to host guest artists. Crystal Traditions is to have a glass blowing demonstration from Michael McCain and crystal hand cutting by Aidan Scully, one America's most renowned master brilliant cutters and designers.
Various businesses are to have raffles and drawings throughout the event.
Visitors can play Holiday Happenings bingo at all participating locations. The limit is one bingo per person, and all participants must be 18 years old.
The event starts today, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and continues Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
"It's just having an event in town that people can enjoy," she said. "It gives them something to do for two days in Tiffin, and have fun and possibly have win a nice prize."
