A 21-year-old man has been charged with rape and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor for allegedly raping and engaging in sexual conduct with a teenager.
Thomas M. Ballash, of Tiffin, was indicted on the charges last week and served the two-count indictment Monday, according to court documents.
Ballash allegedly committed the offenses in August with a 15-year-old.
Ten percent of his $75,000 bond has been posted, a court spokeswoman said. He is scheduled to appear in court for an arraignment Monday.
