Motorcyclist, hay rake collide

EMS personnel attend to a Columbus woman, whom they transported to Mercy Tiffin Hospital after she struck farm machinery while operating a motorcycle Thursday afternoon in the 6000 block of East TR 122. A State Highway Patrol spokesman said Dolly A. Walters had been traveling westbound on East TR 122 with another motorcyclist when her face struck a hay rake that was being hauled by an eastbound vehicle. According to reports from the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Republic firefighters and EMS were called to the accident, which was reported around 12:30 p.m. Further details were unavailable Thursday evening.
