The Seneca County Sheriff's Office plans to conduct high-visibility enforcement overtime patrol beginning Friday and ending Nov. 1.
The "Halloween Blitz" is to target speed, seat belt usage and operators under the influence in order to reduce the number of speed- and alcohol-related accidents on Seneca County roadways, according to a release from the sheriff's office.
The overtime project is funded by a grant issued through the Ohio Department of Public Safety and the Office of Criminal Justice Services, and all hours are worked on a voluntary basis by Seneca County Sheriff's deputies.
