Pumice acrylic, glass and epoxy resin combine to create art for “Strands: Recent Works by Robert S. Mirek.” Tiffin University’s Diane Kidd Gallery of Art is to host its second exhibition of the 2012-13 season. The artist’s reception is to run 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, at the gallery, in the Hayes Center for the Arts on the TU campus. There is no charge. The artist is to speak about his work beginning at 7:15 p.m. The exhibition is to run through Nov. 25.
