A man has been charged with vehicular manslaughter for an April accident that killed a 16-year-old girl.
According to documents from Tiffin Municipal Court, the charge was filed Monday against Glenn R. McElroy, 69, of Barberton, for an April 27 accident on SR 53 that killed Marengo resident Abigail Johnson.
Johnson had been driving a 1995 Volkswagen Jetta south on SR 53 when her car struck the trailer of a semi-truck driven by McElroy, who pulled out onto SR 53 from CR 592.
McElroy is scheduled to appear Tuesday in Tiffin Municipal Court for an arraignment.
