Show sportsmanship, dignity

October 19, 2012
The Advertiser-Tribune

I am writing this letter to voice my opinion. I would like to know how people can continue to coach children who will cheat to win a ball game. How can you play fourth-graders all season and then you bring in sixth-graders at the last game just so you can win? Are you serious? What are you teaching these young children? I guess you can cheat just so you can win. How sad if that is all that it means to you. How about sportsmanship? Oh, wait, I don't think you know what that means, let alone teach your young boys. Shame on you. The other team that did not cheat to win, showed so much sportsmanship and dignity that you will never get. Their coaches showed so much class and the boys were awesome. They have nothing to be ashamed about. They played with so much heart and dignity that it outshone your win. So go ahead and gloat, but just remember how you showed your team how to cheat just to get a win. So proud of you boys. Hold your head up high, Browns. What an awesome season. Your coaches should be proud and you should be proud of your coaches. Good job.
