Veterans Day show kicks off Towne & Country season

NORWALK - Founded in 1966 to promote music education and family entertainment, Towne & Country Players is to open its 47th season Monday when tickets go on sale for all events.

The season continues with Stage Door Canteen Show Nov. 11, presented by Cedarville University. Active military

and veterans can obtain free tickets for for the Veterans Day Show.

Tickets must be ordered by 5 p.m. Nov. 1.

Other productions this season include Ye Olde Yuletide Feaste and Christmas Concert Dec. 13, performed by the Ashland University vocal music department; the sixth annual Firelands Idol competition starts Jan. 2-13, with finals

in February; and Another Round (formerly Straight No Chaser) in an encore concert March 24.

Show tickets range from $5 to $20 and, in some cases, include food.
