Board opens bid for street project

M&B Asphalt placed the only bid for Bettsville street improvements.

The engineers' estimate for the project is $47,250, and the bid from M&B Asphalt, opened at Tuesday's county commissioners meeting, is for $47,000.

In other news, Board President Ben Nutter said he attended a recent Green Springs village council meeting to explain to the council how casino money is distributed.

In new business, the board approved:

Bill vouchers.

A supplemental appropriation of $15,000 within the Wireless 9-1-1 System Fund.

An appropriation adjustment of $560.20 for the Soil & Water Conservation District.

A supplemental appropriation of $172,654.85 for the General Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $300 for the County Community Development Block Grant Fund.

An appropriation adjustment of $12.61 within the Community Housing Improvement Program Fund.

Program Fund.

A resolution setting time, date and place to receive sealed bids for the Seneca County Raised Pavement Marker.

A resolution authorizing a contract with Thomas R. and Joanne M. Shook for the removal of trees at 1715 Lakeview Drive.

A resolution setting time, date and place to receive sealed bids for New Riegel sidewalk improvements.
