MEN'S COLLEGE SOCCER: Tiffin University shut out Findlay Sunday, 2-0. Jon O'Brien and Josh Link each scored goals for the Dragons, who improved to 5-5-2, 4-5-1 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Jeremy Ashley made three saves for TU.

WOMEN'S COLLEGE SOCCER: Tiffin University goalkeeper Hayley Coppola had a school-record 17 saves, but the Dragons lost to Grand Valley State, 2-0 Sunday. The Lakers are the No. 4 team in Division II. TU slipped to 5-6-2, 3-4-2 in the GLIAC.

GOLF: Jeff Wise, Gregg Bishop and Dutch Edeburn shot three under par to win Monday's Retirees League at Seneca Hills. Wise had the long putt on No. 12, Gary Hohman was closest to the pin on No. 16 and Dave Hershey and Wise shared the low at 35.

n Denny Krupp defeated Jared Kuhlman for the club championship at Clinton Heights Golf Course.

VARSITY VOLLEYBALL: Tiffin Calvert defeated Ridgemont, 25-10, 25-9, 25-12 Saturday. Jordan Gase had eight kills and eight aces for the Senecas, while Amber Perry had eight kills and five blocks. Haley Felter had seven kills, while Alanna Widman had four aces, Kaleigh Hendrix had 22 assist, 3 aces and 3 kills. Calvert finished the regular season 15-7.

JV FOOTBALL: Columbian beat Willard, 56-20. Jake Adams threw two touchdowns to Jeffrey Crawford. Scoring rushing touchdowns for TC were Cliff Miller, Jake Adams, Spencer Franklin, and Jacob Dickman. Scoring two rushing touchdowns for the Tornadoes was Brandon Rhoades. Defensively, Chase Keller and Matthew Zirger recovered fumbles. Tyler Gillig also added an interception.

n Calvert defeated St. Joe, 23-8. Marcus King led the Senecas with a blocked punt and three tackles for a loss. Adam Recker ran for 125 yards, while Donovan Stith and Michael Smith each scored touchdowns for Calvert. Adam Recker had a pair of fumble recoveries.

JUNIOR HIGH CROSS COUNTRY: The Hopewell-Loudon boys placed second at the MAL Championships. Drew Kurtz was individual champion in 11:37, Tyler Reinhart-Anez was fifth (12:20), Marcus White ran 16th (12:57), Garrett White was 17th (13:00), Conner White was 24th (13:11), Justin Coleman ran 27th (13:18) and Ryan Alvarado finished 30th (13:32). Andrew Scaife was 32nd (13:50), Austin Rainey was 36th (13:53), Kyle Huth ran 37th (13:57), Ben Kleinfelter was 44th (14:21), David Irving finished 45th (14:32), Mateo Muniz ran 50th (14:55), Nikos Portentoso was 51st (14:58), and Parker Grine was 52nd (15:00).
