WILLISTON - The Sandusky post of State Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash resulting in heavy damage to a home near Williston this morning, according to a release.
John Branski, 59, of Green Springs, was operating a 2009 Ford F-650 dump truck owned by Miller Pipe Line of Hilliard. He was towing a three-axle trailer loaded with a small tractor. Branski was eastbound on SR 579 near Genoa Clay Center Road when he drove off the left side of SR 579, striking the west end of a residence owned by Marie Schnabel, 81, of Curtice, the release states.
The entire truck entered the home. Branski was transported to St. Charles Hospital with minor injuries, and Schnabel, who was home at the time of the crash, was not injured, according to the release.
