SCOTT TOWNSHIP - The Fremont Post of the Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that killed a Tiffin man Saturday on CR 41 in Sandusky County.
Robert R. Santos, 54, of Tiffin, who was not wearing a seat belt, was traveling eastbound about 7:20 p.m. when he drove off the right side of the roadway. He re-entered the roadway and lost control before traveling off the left side of the roadway and overturning in a ditch. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His 1992 Geo Tracker sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene by Pat and Son's.
Sandusky County Sheriff's Department, Bradner Fire and EMS, and Life-squad 14 assisted at the scene.
