A caller reported Thursday afternoon a semi-truck in the 100 block of Madison Street struck a tree and knocked down signs.

A 100-block Third Avenue caller reported Thursday evening a person who was going door-to-door told them they had been assaulted by another resident.

A woman went to the station Thursday night to report her husband was making threats toward her.

A 200-block Third Avenue caller requested to speak to an officer Friday morning about stolen bicycles.

County reports

A 4000-block East CR 16 woman went to the station Thursday afternoon to report damage to her vehicle.

Fostoria reports

A phone scam was reported Thursday night in the 500 block of Stearns Road.

A caller in the area of West Jackson and Walnut streets reported Friday morning a toddler was walking down the street by himself. The child was returned to his parents, who didn't know he got out of the house. The incident was to be forwarded to children's services.

An incident involving menacing was reported Friday morning at Fostoria High School, 1001 Park Ave.

A 100-block North Union Street man reported Friday afternoon someone threw a brick through a back-door window on his vehicle.

A 500-block North Main Street caller reported Friday afternoon someone stole a political sign.

County accident

Raymond T. Beckett, 44, of McCutchenville, was cited with failure to yield during a left turn following a non-injury accident Monday evening at the intersection of South SR 100 and East US 224.

Tiffin fire

Firefighters were called to Miami Street and Ashwood Drive Friday morning to assist police.

County fire
