Tiffin reports

A 1600-block West Market Street woman reported Wednesday afternoon she found a revolver near a fence in her yard.

A first-block Hall Street caller requested to speak to an officer Wednesday night about a stolen laptop.

A caller reported early Thursday morning an intoxicated man was passed out in a car in the first block of Main Street. The intoxicated man left on foot. Police were unable to locate him.

A break-in was reported Thursday morning at Klay Tire & Oil, 230 E. Market St. Catalytic converters were taken off of three vehicles and change was taken from a cash drawer.

County reports

A caller from Mike's Auto Body, 1560 W. CR 54, reported early Thursday morning the front door appeared to have been broken open.

A break-in was reported Thursday morning at Bish Construction, 1650 TR 1186.

Fostoria reports

A caller in the area of Palmer Street and Springville Avenue reported Wednesday evening several kids were playing "chicken" with vehicles. Police were unable to locate the kids.

A 100-block West Crocker Street man reported Wednesday evening he received a scam phone call.

An 800-block Leonard Street woman reported Wednesday night her boyfriend moved her car and wouldn't move it back.

Tiffin fire

Firefighters were called out Wednesday evening to 870 W. Market St. and 187 Jackson St. for fire alarms. Both calls were false alarms.

County fire

Sycamore firefighters were called to South CR 19 Wednesday evening for a chimney fire. McCutchenville firefighters were put on stand-by.

Bettsville firefighters were called to South SR 269 Wednesday evening for the report of smoke.
