Entry forms for those participating in the Halloween Parade in downtown Fostoria are due by 5 p.m. Monday. The parade steps off at 5 p.m. Oct. 28 in downtown Fostoria.
Cost is $20 for individuals to enter a float, vehicle or walking group in the parade, and nonprofits and horses are free. A winner is to be selected for best float, with prizes including a $100 Kmart gift card, eight VIP passes to African Safari Wildlife Park and a 2013 family season pass to Fostoria Water Park among other coupons.
Entry forms are available in the mayor's office, 213 S. Main St., or by calling (419) 435-8282.
A costume contest is free and open to the public, and does not require advance registration. Sign-up and judging is at 4 p.m. in the Family Video parking lot.
Winners are to be picked for each age division, as well as for a pet costume contest and one winner is to be chosen at random to receive a 2013 family season pass to Fostoria Water Park.
Members of the Fostoria Community Arts Council are judges.
