BEREA - Heidelberg's men's soccer team got a big win, and coach Brian Haley reached a milestone.
With HU's 1-0 victory in Berea Tuesday night over Baldwin-Wallace, Haley won his 100th Ohio Athletic Conference victory.
Haley, who has coached at Heidelberg for more than two decades, improved his OAC career mark to 100-90-27.
Haley also got his career 100th win against Baldwin-Wallace.
Christopher Koczak's goal in the 48th minute was the contest's lone score; it came off a Nico Samanaiego assist.
Matthew Stevens made four saves for Heidelberg, which improved to 7-5-1, 2-1-1 in the OAC.
'Berg gets help from all over
Two Heidelberg players approached double-doubles and another pair combined for 36 assists Tuesday in a 25-10, 25-18, 25-21 victory over Baldwin-Wallace.
Jamie Kluding smacked nine kills and had 13 digs and Kristen Zumberger added eight kills and eight digs to help the Student Princes (16-6). Rachel Ferguson and Calvert graduate Alex Frank each put up 18 assists.
Marian Bevington belted 13 kills for Heidelberg and Tessa Benanzer came up with 12 digs.
