Letha L. Cline of Mansfield died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012. She was 101 years old.
She was born Sept. 9, 1911, in Grand Ridge, Ill., to William J. and Bertha L. (Patterson) Locke. Letha lived most of her life in Mansfield and was married to Wayne W. Cline Nov. 27, 1929, in Mansfield. She was employed at Leland Hotel, First National Bank and Shrigley's Juvenile Shoe Store. Letha was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Lexington Civic Center, AARP, and Bridge Singles where she enjoyed playing bridge with her friends. She also enjoyed quilting at the Christian Church.
She is survived by a son, James D. Cline and his companion, Tisha Turner; three grandchildren, Tiffany L. (Bryan) DeBois, Crystal D. Cline and Richard W. (Jaclyn) Cline; one sister-in-law, Eleanor Cline; several nieces and nephews; a special niece and nephew who were a great help to Letha since her husband's death in March 1989, David Cline and his companion, Linda Roush; Linda (Wayne) Courtwright and Craig and JoAnn Case; and very dear friends, Joyce Nichols and Joyce Angelini.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Mansfield.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. The Rev. Dr. Pentti Maki will conduct the service.
Private burial will be at Mansfield Memorial Park.
