CLYDE - Columbian finished play Saturday at the Division II sectional tournament at Clyde. Alex Kramer in singles, along with the doubles team of Allie Elchert and Audrey Vrancken already qualified for next week's district tournament.
They returned to determine seeding and both ended up with second place finishes.
Kramer began her day with 6-0, 6-3 win over Clyde's Kristina Reimer. In the finals, she fell to Ashley LaFountain of Oak Harbor 6-0, 6-0.
Elchert and Vrancken won their semifinal match against Clyde's Maria Gerber and Alix Bouvet 6-1, 6-2. In the finals, they fell to Clyde's other team of Amanda Cahill and Lexi Weber 6-2, 6-3.
All will advance to the district tournament beginning Thursday at Bowling Green State University.
