It is time again for the Oktoberfest at Garlo Heritage Nature Preserve to benefit the Seneca County Park District. It is Sunday, from noon to 5 p.m. at Garlo, which is 2 miles south of Bloomville on SR 19. (Traffic alert: There is a bridge out on SR 19 between US 224 and Bloomville.) Admission and parking is free.
Enjoy great German food, live German music by Deutschmeister, narrated wagon rides through the park, children's activities, German baked goods available at the Baeckerei (bake shop) and much more.
This will be our 8th annual Oktoberfest and the event has become a wonderful celebration of community, of families, and the parks. Join us for a great day.
