A son, Mason Charles Houk, was born Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, to MaryKate (McClain) and Christopher Houk of Denver, Colo. Mason weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and measured 20 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Tim and Anne McClain of Troy, Mich. Paternal grandparents are Stephen and Sharlene Houk of Tiffin. Paternal great-grandparents are Hubert and Marian Stickley of Tiffin.
