GOLF: Phil Lee and Jen Frankart are tied with Todd Hulland and Doug Hoerig with 26.5 points with three weeks to go in the last third of the Baumann Old Fort Ex-Hi golf league. Jeff Miller shot closest to pin on No. 12, and Ernie Hersh shot closest in three on No. 13. Long putt went to Jack Blue on No. 18.

n The team of Jeff Wise, Bob Barchus, Gene Sherer and Tom Holz shot 2-under par to win Monday's Tetiree's League at Seneca Hills. Bing Fowler had the long putt on No. 12 and Ed Lutz was closest to pin on No. 16 (with a hole in one). Wise, Lutz, and Dave Hershey shared the low gross of 33.

HOLE IN ONE: Ed Lutz had a hole in one on No. 16 at Seneca Hills using a 6 iron. Witnessing the feat were Jim Peterman, P.R. Fey and Dick Hiser. He was playing in the Retiree's League.

JUNIOR?HIGH VOLLEYBALL: New Riegel's seventh grade girls defeated St. Wendelin, 25-9, 25-10. Lindsay Bouillon led with 16 points and three assists, followed by Jacquelyn Lininger with six points and two kills. St. Wendelin's eighth grade girls beat New Riegel, 25-15, 25-23. Shelby Mathias had three digs, six kills and two blocks. Rachael Rolsten added two points and ten digs toward the win.

JV VOLLEYBALL: Genoa defeated Old Fort, 25-13, 25-20. Morgan Kemenah led with two kills and two aces, followed by Hope Gippert with two kills and Alyssa Pence with two aces.

n New Riegel defeated Riverdale, 25-11, 25-17. Brittany Baker had five digs, Mackenzie Reinhart added four kills, and Natalie Reinhart contributed with two aces and two kills. This sets New Riegel at an overall record of (12-5) and MAL record of (5-2).

FRESHMAN VOLLEYBALL: Mohawk topped Columbian 25-19, 25-23. Allison Osborn had 11 digs, four kills for Mohawk, while Ally Weinandy had four kills, four aces, six digs. Hannah Kieffer added six assists for the Warriors.

JV FOOTBALL: Columbian lost to Bellevue, 32-20. Scoring rushing touchdowns for the Tornadoes were Spencer Franklin, Jake Adams, and Cliff Miller.

CROSS COUNTRY: The rescheduled Attica Sutton Bank Elementary Race will be held Wednesday at Myers Park in Attica. Registration begins at 4:45 p.m. and the cost is $2. The boys Pre K- 3rd grade race will begin at 5:30 with the other races (girls Pre K-3rd, boys 4th-6th, girls 4th-6th) following. n The Hopewell-Loudon junior high boys team took eighth of 22 teams at the Vermilion Invite. Tyler Reinhart-Anez ran 13th (11:32), Drew Kurtz was 15th (11:36), Marcus White was 57th (12:25), Garrett White ran 60th (12:28), Justin Coleman finished 72nd (12:40), Conner White was 77th (12:44), and Andrew Scaife ran 90th (13:05). In the open race, Ryan Alvarado finished 22nd (13:02), Cody Ramirez ran 25th (13:10), Kyle Huth was 37th (13:18), Ben Kleinfelter was 63rd (13:42), Austin Rainey ran 64th (13:43), David Irving finished 66th (13:46), Parker Grine was 75th (13:56), Nikos Portentoso was 91st (14:19), and Mateo Muniz was 123rd (15:28).

TENNIS: Hillsdale College beat the Tiffin University girls team, 6-3 on Sunday. Valentina Mazzola (TU) defeated Morgan Delp, 6-3, 6-4. Abigail Schuster (TU) defeated Lindsay Peirce, 5-7, 7-6, 10-7. Chelsea Black (TU) defeated Rachel Blaauw, 6-0, 6-2.

JUNIOR HIGH VOLLEYBALL: Mohawk's eighth grade beat Wynford, 25-22, 25-20. Reanna Garber served nine aces, while Chelsey Trusty had six kills for the Warriors. Addie Thiery added five kills.

n Mohawk's seventh grade fell to Wynford, 25-23, 21-25, 25-18. Hannah Jordan served 10 aces, while Jordan Lease served seven.
