Carl and Beverly Burks celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Sept. 7, 2012.
They were married Sept. 7, 1952, at Christ Lutheran Church, Carey.
Carl is the son of the late George and Oleta Burks.

Beverly is the daughter of the late Don and Mildred Hunter.
They are parents of five children, David (Mary) Burks of Johns Creek, Ga., Jim (Patty) Burks and Tom (Lisa) Burks, both of Cumming, Ga., and Lisa (Mike) Yoder and Lynn (Dan) Miller, both of Tiffin. Completing their family are 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
