V. Faye Hanley, 88, of Fostoria, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at her residence.
She was born June 26, 1924, in Gallia County, to Alfred and Jenni (Strickland) Hatfield. She married Frederick Earl Hanley Feb. 9, 1957, in Angola, Ind., and he preceded her in death Oct. 19, 2005.
She is survived by two daughters, Pam (John) Waldman of Van Buren and Freda Hanley of Fostoria; one grandson; two granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Vicki (Hanley) Marks; three brothers, Raymond, Robert and George; and four sisters, Rilla Luckadoo, Alice Rutan, Etta Rowsey and Marie Saunders.
Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria.
Her funeral is 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, with the Rev. Larry Hatfield presiding. Committal services and burial will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia.
