The Ritz Theatre in Tiffin is to host two well-known performers this weekend.
Friday, country music singer, songwriter and musician Clint Black is to perform at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $30 to $75.
Christian music artist Michael W. Smith is to appear at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Ticket prices range from $35-$75.

'Gruesome' geared to adults
FINDLAY - The University of Findlay theatre program is to present "Gruesome Playground Injuries" at 8 p.m. today through Saturday in the Egner Center for the Performing Arts.
In this 2009 "dramedy" by American playwright Rajiv Joseph, the accident-prone characters Doug and Kayleen interact as childhood friends and at eight key moments over the course of 30 years.
Tickets are $5 for general admission, $3 for students and senior citizens and free for UF faculty, staff and students. With adult language and content, this production is not recommended for children.
Harvestfest offers seasonal delights
PORT CLINTON - The 26th annual Port Clinton Area Harvest Fest begins 5-11 p.m. Friday and continues 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday in the 100-block of Madison Street in downtown Port Clinton.
More than 45 craft vendors are to offer their wares, and children can explore the new Kids Zone. The Big Top Food Court is to serve beer and feature food by local restaurants.
Enterainment includes Classic Trends on Friday; Rumors, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, 2-5 p.m. Saturday; Earth Quakers Saturday evening; and DJ Hondo on Sunday.

Strand to host
weekend shows
FREMONT - The Last Friday Funnies comedy night is coming to The Strand Concert Theater at 8 p.m. Friday.
Comedian Ishoos is to host the show. Gabriel and the Grove is to have a CD release party with special guest Nathan Roberts at 8 p.m. Saturday at The Strand. Admission for both shows is $10 at the door.
Doors are to open at 7 p.m. Patrons 21 and older can bring their own coolers. The theater is at 220 S. Front St., Fremont.

Halloween event targets children
BELLEVUE - Storybook Halloween at Historic Lyme Village is planned for 2-5 p.m. Oct. 6. Storybook characters will be waiting for children in each building with activities and light refreshments. Children can come in costume.
Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for children ages 2-12.
