The estimated number of people unemployed in Seneca County has hit a four-year low.
According to statistics released by Ohio Department of Job and Family Services today, the jobless rate for the county dropped to 6.8 percent in August, which is the lowest reported rate since September 2008. Unemployment was 7.7 percent in July and 8.7 percent in August 2011.
