A son, Zain Allen, was born Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, to Maggie and Christopher Forbess of Wasilla, Alaska. Zain weighed 11 pounds, 11 ounces, and measured 21 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Thomas and Denice Daniel of Bascom. Paternal grandparents are Daniel and Bonnee Sprow of Kansas and Dewey and Kirsten Forbess of Wasilla, Alaska. Maternal great-grandparents are Pearl Nye of Alvada and the late Carl Nye. Paternal great-grandparents are Dwight and Kathleen Fruth of Fostoria and Betty Lou Forbess, all of Fostoria.
