A man who was transported to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center by Life Flight following a one-vehicle accident early Wednesday morning has been issued several traffic citations.
John F. Pesnell, 46, of Flat Rock, has been cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, failure to reinstate, a seat belt violation and failure to control, according to Tiffin Municipal Court documents.
A spokeswoman from the State Highway Patrol said Pesnell had been westbound on CR 34, west of SR 19, when he failed to negotiate the curve, drove off the left side of the roadway and went into a ditch. He then struck a driveway culvert.
