Dave and Connie Carrothers celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 15, 2012.
They were married Sept. 15, 1962, at Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church, rural Tiffin, by the Rev. Ronald Goetz.
Connie is the daughter of Juanita Sherman Wadsworth and the late Kenneth Sherman and is retired from many years in retail work.

Dave is the son of the late Tom and Edna Carrothers. He is self-employed at Dave's Auto Repair in rural Republic after 40 years with Reineke Family Dealerships. He also is an Adams Township trustee.
A family gathering is planned for October in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
