County reports
A first-block West New Haven Street person went to the station Wednesday morning to speak to a deputy about the theft of a china hutch.
A deputy was requested Wednesday morning at Flatrock Care Center, 7353 N. CR 29, for a box in storage that had wires sticking out of it. According to reports from the Seneca County Sheriff's Office, it appeared to be old blasting caps and possibly some dynamite. The items were later detonated.
A 7000-block North Fort Street woman reported a break-in Wednesday afternoon.
Fostoria reports
An assault victim was being treated Tuesday afternoon at Fostoria Community Hospital, according to an employee of the hospital. The victim told police he was involved in a fight that the other person started. He was advised of his options.
A break-in was reported Tuesday night in the 700 block of Lynn Street. Money and a ring were taken.
A 100-block East Fremont Street woman reported Wednesday morning a brick was used to smash a vehicle window.
A caller from Fostoria Iron & Metal, 636 Spruce St., reported Wednesday afternoon they located a stolen cash box.

Susan Feucht, 27, of Tiffin, was cited with lanes of travel upon roadway following a two-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in the 3000 block of East CR 50.

Firefighters were called to 359 Miami St. Tuesday afternoon for an unintentional smoke detector activation.

Bettsville firefighters were called to West TR 158 Tuesday afternoon for an uncontrolled burn.
Bascom firefighters were called to South TR 87 Tuesday night for a carbon monoxide alarm.
Bascom and Clinton firefighters were called to West TR 120 Wednesday afternoon for an uncontrolled burn.
